The last time I visited Disneyland was in 2003.  I was 7 1/2 months pregnant and wanted my oldest daughter Bel, to see Disneyland since she was so enamoured with Dumbo, Mickey and the Little Mermaid.  Needless to say, Bel had a wonderful time, especially since Grandma (my mom) and my sis came with us.  Does she remember it?  YES! With the help of the video that my sis took the whole 2 days there.

So, being the older sibling, she likes to lord over her younger sister that she’s been to Disneyland but Ori hasn’t.  So of course, Ori gets upset that she never got to see Mickey and the princesses.  So I told her that she did go to Disneyland but she was still inside my tummy.  This answer satisfied for well enough for a few months.

Then a few days ago, Bel was once again bragging about seeing the Princesses and Mickey.  She said to Ori “When we go to Disneyland, I want to see Snow White first, just like LAST TIME I WENT!”.

Ori says to me with a sad little look “Mommy, I went to Disneyland too but all I saw was the inside of your shirt!”

Isn’t that the cutest thing you’ve ever heard?  I need to scrapbook this…definitely a memory to treasure!

I’ll be teaching a class at Remember Me Scrapbooking on April 23rd (space still available).  We’ll be making a mini book that will be a PERFECT gift for MOTHER’S DAY!!  We will be using Basic Grey pattern paper, stamps and vellum, and of course, the Zutter Bind-It-All to bind it all together.

Below is how the mini book will look.  Please keep in mind that there will be coils in the middle of the pages as we are using a Zutter machine to put it together (the pages below have not yet been binded).  I had the opportunity to use the Zutter when I put the book together at the store on Sunday and I have to say, this is a dream machine.  It cuts through cardstock and chipboard easily and I binded the book together in less than 5 minutes…considering this was the first time I used it!
